I am an artist/illustrator currently commissioned to do four children's books for ZuZu Petals Publishing. Yikes. The first two books, "Butt Ugly" and "Filth at the Gardens" will be available by Christmas 2007. Or at least that is what my friend and author of these books, Lynn Montgomery, promises me. The persnickety, pampered pet you see to your left is "Marcy, the Marvelous Cat." Her story will be coming out in mid 2008. You should also watch for "Hannah Smashed Banana," the twisted tale of a discombobulated wooly monkey who saves the rain forest. Oh no. I better get back to the drawing board, I hear Lynn has started on a new children's book!
